Jr.Electrical Engineer

Elect Eng              

The electrical engineer candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry. Ability to develop design packages and conduct studies for electrical systems. Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in electrical engineering projects, design, maintenance, assessments, studies, investigations, analysis, optimization, troubleshooting, detailed reports and technical evaluations. Detailed knowledge and background in transformers, generators, solar power, battery chargers, battery banks, Cathodic protection and motors. He is expected to be able to perform the following; Equipment design and electrical system modifications for oil & gas facilities. Plan, monitor and improve Energy Management and Efficiency Programs. Support electrical system’s commissioning and plant’s startup. Review engineering design packages related to Electrical equipment and systems to ensure appropriate material selection and cost minimization. Issue design engineering packages for anode monitoring and Cathodic Protection (CP) systems. Conduct electrical surveys, assessments and audits to assets related to DC battery systems, CP systems and Solar Systems. Develop continuous improvements solutions for electrical challenges.

The rotating equipment engineer should have experience (Minimum of 10 years) in the maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and failures/fault analysis as well as the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the rotating machinery including, but not limited to, compressors, pumps, motors and diesel engines. Also, the engineer should be holding a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, worked previously in oil and gas operating facilities and is expected to support and participate in the different rotating equipment activities in the gas compression project including the pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, in English. Ability to describe the components of PCS interfaces and integration techniques to sub-systems including safety systems, measurement systems, and smart devices. Ability to describe the components, structure and operation of any instrument-related control panel. Ability to describe material specifications commonly used for PCS and sub-systems. Outline basic hardware, software, networks, etc. He is expected to develop solutions for instrument challenges. Maintain Instrument & Control System assets and equipment.
Issue engineering design packages for Instrumentation. Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance for Instrument & Control related issues.
Review and comment on project design documents for pressure, flow, temperature, level and analytical field analyzer in addition to  control valves, MOVs, AOVs, EIVs.
Develop and update instrument loops diagrams as well as PFDs, PIDs, ISDs, ILDs and Data Sheets. Participate in instrumentation design, installation and commissioning of the wiring, cabling and grounding systems for instrumentation following the Company and International standards. Read and interpret PFDs, PIDs, ILDs, cause and effect diagrams, SISs and ISSs.

Engineer Corrosion  (Mechanical)

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 Years-experience as Corrosion Engineer in Oil & Gas
• Certified in API-571 and API-579
• Shall have the ability and mastery skills on following:
· Read and understand specification sheets for equipment and instruments and identify and specify proper materials for a project or modification
· Damage mechanisms affecting different materials and equipment in the refinery
· Read and understand cathodic protection principles, sacrificial anodes and impressed current systems.
· Select material of construction for process equipment, piping system, or pump, etc.
· Estimate & Monitor the corrosion rate (MPY) and adjust the chemical dosing rate, as required, Optimize corrosion protection chemical consumption.
· On-stream inspection (OSI) program and familiarize with various inspection program (Nipple, Dummy support, Dead leg,)
· Determine corrosion sectors from process flow diagrams.
· Assign corrosion circuits and CMLs from P&IDs, review of process changes for impact on OSI Program and adjust the CML's or intervals as required.
· Review and analyze OSI reading and corrosion rates for all scheduled plant static equipment on quarterly basis.
· Evaluate the differences between the various forms of corrosion. Explain corrosion mechanisms involved in the main corrosive environment especially encountered in oil, gas and utilities facilities..
· Monitor cathodic protection systems, using applicable survey procedures and equipment.
· Describe typical material fabrication methods and their applications.
· Analyze the relationship between failure analysis and materials selection.
· Specify the correct coatings for use in Saudi Aramco using the Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Identify surface preparation methods used by Saudi Aramco, Identify the codes, standards, procedures, and instructions associated with nondestructive testing on tanks, vessels, and piping systems at Saudi Aramco.
· Determine the appropriate suitability and application of NDT examinations.

Process Engineer(Chemical)

The experienced process engineer is needed to attend and support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities for the Gas compression projects and also transfer knowledge gained in previous experience to the team. The required degree is bachelor in Chemical engineering with experience of more than 13 years in oil and gas industry and preferred to be participated in one of the industry plant commissioning.

Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for all Electrical activities under Haw Gas Storage Projects and will include but not limited to
• will provide general guidance and work directions to a group of electrical technicians,
• locate equipment or systems faults and operating irregularities by making the necessary diagnostically tests, measurements and analyses.
• Determine nature of repairs or modifications to be made and replacement parts required.
• Field / shop: Locate specification sheets, manufacturers' technical data, and read all kinds of blueprints.
• Perform necessary maintenance on assigned equipment, runs operating tests to ensure satisfactory repair.
• Performs high-skilled diagnostic and electrical tasks as required.
• Prepares new or altered installations on all types of electrical equipment/systems including electrical motors, appliances, control circuits or lighting systems, then test runs for acceptance.

• Inspects job site for unsafe conditions or acts & Reports findings to appropriate parties.
• Assists in the development of new risk-based inspection & test plans and training of lesser qualified inspectors.
• Completes training & certification as per next level JTS, job description & IDP.
• Performs discipline specific inspection activities as per applicable requirements & assists with resolution of related problems.
• Ensures assigned job is conducted safely and as per requirements by qualified personnel & timely reports deviations.
