W.L.L. (Qcon) (previously MECON), a Qatari company, provides engineering and construction services throughout the Middle East. Qatar's major EPC and maintenance contractor, Qcon, is based in the Arabian Gulf.

While working on the most challenging projects, we've honed our project management abilities. When it comes to completing projects, we're recognised for our ability to handle even the most difficult and inaccessible places. Project resources can be promptly mobilised thanks to our vast network of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction facilities.
Salwa and Mesaieed Industrial Areas are home to Qcon's own workshops and fabrication facilities, as well as the company's marine fabrication yard. Qcon has a huge fleet of equipment and machinery, as well as a maintenance yard and a scaffolding yard in Wakhra. There are also different camps and lodging facilities located around Qatar. Employee transportation is handled by Qcon on a case-by-case basis.
Facilities in Salwa
The Salwa Industrial Area, which is situated about 10 kilometres west of Doha's city centre, has a 100,000-square-foot complex that includes offices, a fabrication shop, a machine shop, a plant and equipment yard, and maintenance spaces for land-based and offshore cranes.

Mesaieed's Infrastructure:
Marine Fabrication Yard at Mesaieed, about 50 kilometres south of Doha, is fully functioning. Fully equipped covered workshops, a 220 meter-long marine dock, and loading structures are all available in the Yard's 4500 square metres of covered working space. Loading and unloading massive structures and integrated topside decks with a maximum weight of 9,000 tonnes, which is done over the heaped concrete launch pad at low tide, are also possible.
There is a 135,500-square-meter open fabrication area in the yard for the assembly of all small and big components of jackets and decks, as well as 22,000 square metres of material storage space for bulk supplies. The yard's annual output capacity is 16,000 tonnes.

SPC 1200 (Manufactured by HGG) is a CNC Pipe Profiling Machine that is capable of profiling pipes from 42" in diameter to 19 metres in length.
In order to cut and profile jackets and deck tubular braces up to a diameter of 30", HGG has developed a computer-controlled, programmed pipe cutting machine type PPC 85.
In the workshop, tubular bracers up to 42" in diameter are cut and profiled. For steel structural prefabrication and other other goods, it's also a good choice
Workplace for Blasting and Spray Painting :
Size: 125 metres long, 12 metres wide, and 7.5 metres high. Dimensions A typical blasting and priming day may produce up to 300 square metres of blasting and priming material.
A comprehensive team of competent and experienced engineers, naval architects and draughtsmen is available to handle all aspects of construction engineering, including shop drawings, heavy lift studies/procedures, and load-out engineering. Qcon intends to outsource the detailed engineering design work to a reputable business with a proven track record.
