Marine Technology and Practices 1) Practical and Theoretical Knowledge of AC and DC 2) Knowledge of Marine Fitting and Installation 3) Knowledge of Marine Electrical Machines, Equipment’s, and Troubleshooting Cable Installation & Termination 1) Knowledge of cable sizing for power, control and instruments cables 2) Effect of EMC against sensitive electronic equipment’s 3) Knowledge of marine communication and navigation equipment requirements and installation procedures 4) Knowledge of power / control Cables Loop checking 5) Knowledge of power / control Cables pulling / Glanding & Terminations 6) Knowledge of power / control Cables MCT Packing works 7) Knowledge of power / control Cables Loop checking JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Understands and follow all yard safety rules and regulations. Maintains quantum and quality of work set. Maintains tools and equipment. Maintains and upkeep housekeeping. Follows all work instructions and procedures and report any lapse in safety.
