Job Descriptions :

Mechanical Technicians:

· Person shall have academic qualifications of Diploma / ITI
· Person shall have minimum 6-8 years of experience on inspections of Gas Turbines (preferably of GE/Alstom make), and other major rotary equipment like compressors, pumps, Gearboxes etc.
· Shall have experience in activities like combustion chamber works, bearings inspection, turbine blading, alignment, general assembly of the turbine and Rigging of parts etc.
· Shall be able to work independently with minimum guidance.
· Shall have knowledge on usage of on hand tools, hydraulic/pneumatic tools, precision measuring tools, lifting tackles etc.
· Person shall be able to read drawings/ manuals and prepare job reports if needed.
· Shall have awareness on coordinating activities like welding, gas cutting, drilling, grinding, etc
· Shall have good communication skills in English.
· Person is required to work in hot metal areas.
· Person might also be required to work in shifts as and when needed.

2.Mechanical Fitter

· Person shall have academic qualifications of ITI.

· Person shall have minimum 4-6 years of experience in maintenance of rotary machines in Power Plant, Oil & Gas plants and petrochemicals plants.

· Shall have experience in overhaul rotating equipment like pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors etc. and static equipment/ elements like boilers, valves, vessel etc.

· Person should be able to work in a group along with Technicians.

· Shall have experience in carrying out activities like drilling, grinding, cutting using gas torch etc.

· Shall be able to work independently with minimum guidance.

· Shall have an adequate knowledge on usage of on hand tools, hydraulic/pneumatic tools, precision measuring tools, lifting tackles etc.

· Shall have good communication skills in English.

· Person is required to work in hot metal areas.

· Person might also be required to work in shifts as and when needed.
